The whole instrument -- 01-overview
Map-driven sample instrument -- tune the dial, play the world.
RADIOSAMPLER is a sample instrument organised around a map -- the map browser is a WebView that drives which sample slots and sources feed the sampler.
The right column switches between the SMP sample list and the FX rack; under the map, the EDIT / PADS / SMP sub-tabs swap the sample editor, the performance pad grid and the sample browser.
Sampler controls, the waveform view and the keyboard cover playback; FX-rack randomization is filed to the preset list as rnd-* history.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| MAP | Map browser -- pick sample sources/slots. |
| SMP / FX | Right panel: sample list vs FX rack. |
| EDIT | Sample editor -- start/end, pitch, envelope per sample. |
| PADS | Performance pad grid -- trigger slices/zones. |
| SMP (sub) | Sample browser under the map. |
| WAVEFORM | Shows the selected sample. |
| KEYBOARD | Audition notes / live playing. |
| SAVE | Save the current state as a named preset. |

The running plugin -- every area is detailed below.

The map is the instrument's front door.
The WebView map -- browse sources and load sample slots straight from the map. Drag pans the world, the wheel zooms around the cursor, and a click selects the nearest station dot. Hovering a dot shows a tooltip with the station's name and metadata.

The map's overlay row: the search box live-filters stations by name, country or tags; the category combo narrows the map to All Stations, a country (top 30), a tag or a language; + / reset / - zoom in, recenter and zoom out. While a station plays, the now-playing card pops up on the map with its name, country, codec and bitrate.

The radio controls row -- tuning/transport for the sampler voice path.

The full loop in eight moves -- from an empty map to a mixed, playable sample.
Wait for the map. The world map draws the land first, then streams the station database in on a background thread (~50k stations). While it works the map reads "Loading map data..." -- dots appear as stations become available.

Pick a station. Click any dot, or press RAND to tune a random station for you. The now-playing card pops up on the map, the transport row shows the station name + ticker, and the stream starts playing by itself.

Record. Press REC -- it flips to STOP and the edit surface mirrors the incoming stream live. Leave it rolling as long as you like (the unregistered demo auto-stops at its cap).

Stop -> the take lands in the list. Press STOP (the same button). The recording is written to the sample store and appears in the right-panel SMP list as a "station + timestamp" row with its own waveform.

Load the sample. Click a row to load it into the editor; right-click offers load-to-pad, show-in-folder and delete (a DELETE/CANCEL confirm dialog), and RESCAN / FOLDER manage the samples directory itself.

Edit. Drag the IN/OUT handles under the waveform (or click the waveform to move the nearest one; drag the bar between them to shift both). TRIM commits the region, NORM peaks it, REV flips it, LOOP cycles it, right-click opens the FX menu, and UNDO/REDO cover mistakes.

Play. PLAY in the editor auditions the selected region on the spot; on the keyboard every key plays the active layer chromatically -- scenes, CPY/PST, RST and octave +/- work as usual.

Mix. The MIX knob crossfades the live stream against the sampler output -- hard left is radio only, hard right is samples only, anything between plays the tuned station under your keys.

The sub-tabs under the map swap the work surface.
EDIT -- per-sample start/end, pitch and envelope.

PADS -- the performance pad grid; click a pad to trigger its slice/zone.

SMP -- the sample browser list under the map.

The right panel's FX tab swaps the sample list for the effect chain.
Switch the right panel to FX -- the shared FX rack with reorderable slots, per-slot RDM and the rack randomizers.

RND CHAIN / RND FX / RND PRM re-roll the chain -- every roll is filed as an rnd-* preset entry.

Back to SMP -- the sample list.

The transport row under the map plus the tab row.
PLAY -- play the selected station / stream.

RAND -- tune to a random station.

REC -- record the live stream into the selected sample slot.

Station label -- the currently tuned station, with the scrolling ticker beside it.

EDIT / PADS / SMP -- sub-tabs under the map: sample editor, pad grid, sample browser.

SMP / FX -- right-panel tabs: sample list vs the FX rack.

THEME -- palette cycle. ABOUT -- credits.

UNLOCK opens the activation dialog -- enter your purchase email and licence key; activation is verified online. The unregistered demo caps the FX rack at 3 slots.

Keyboard scenes -- each key stores a pad scene: playing a note recalls that pad's sample layers. CPY / PST copy a scene between notes, RST clears the selected one, RST ALL wipes all; + / - shift octaves.

The two-row knob deck under the waveform -- envelope, tone, mod, delay, reverb and output.
ATK -- amp attack.

DCY -- amp decay.

SUS -- sustain level.

REL -- release time.

FILT -- bipolar filter: negative closes a lowpass, positive opens a highpass.

DRV -- drive into the filter.

CRSH -- decimation (sample-rate crush).

BITS -- bit-depth reduction.

LOW -- EQ low band.

MID -- EQ mid band.

HIGH -- EQ high band.

CHO MIX -- chorus mix.

CHO RATE -- chorus LFO rate.

CHO DPTH -- chorus depth.

PITCH -- layer pitch (bipolar).

VIB -- vibrato depth.

VRATE -- vibrato rate.

DLY -- delay time.

FB -- delay feedback.

MIX -- delay wet/dry.

RVB MIX -- reverb wet.

ROOM -- reverb room size.

DAMP -- reverb damping.

SAT -- output saturation.

WID -- stereo width.

TONE -- output tone tilt.

PAN -- layer pan.

VOL -- layer volume.

The EDIT tab -- trim the selected slot.
Dual range -- the sample's start/end window; drag either handle, or drag the bar between them to shift both together.

TRIM -- commit the range, cropping the sample.

PLAY -- audition the edited range.

NORM -- normalize peak level.

REV -- reverse the sample.

UNDO -- undo the last edit.

REDO -- redo.

Right-click the waveform opens the Audio FX menu: ffmpeg-driven offline effects applied to the selection -- Reverb, Echo, Pitch Shift, Time Stretch, Fade In/Out, Normalize, Low/High Pass, Bass/Treble boost, Distortion, Tremolo, Vibrato, Chorus, Flanger and Phaser. Effects with parameters open a settings dialog with sliders plus APPLY / CANCEL; the bottom of the menu also offers Trim to selection, Normalize and Reverse.

POLY/MONO -- toggle the edited layer between polyphonic and mono voice modes (default POLY).

LOOP -- loop the trimmed region.

MIX -- radio/sampler blend.

The preset list doubles as a roll history.
Every FX-rack randomize is filed as an rnd-* entry; double-click to recall, R renames, X deletes.

The remaining house-style areas.
The waveform view follows the selected sample.

LFO LINK then click any control for live modulation.

Control panel: I/O, filter, EQ, comp, limiter and the preset browser. ? opens this manual.
