The whole plugin -- 01-overview
Modular VST host -- load third-party instruments as rack modules.
UVB999 hosts external VST plugins as modules in a rack -- each slot loads a plugin, exposes its parameters as house-style knobs and selectors, and can be bypassed or randomized independently.
The rack-level randomizers -- RND MOD, RND PRM and RND CHAIN -- re-roll modules, their parameters or the whole chain; every roll is filed to the preset list as rnd-* history.
The control panel carries I/O, post-filter, EQ, comp, limiter and the preset browser; the keyboard drives hosted instruments; the FX rack processes the summed output.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| MODULES | Each slot hosts a VST module -- params exposed as knobs. |
| RND | Per-module header button: randomize that module. |
| RND MOD | Re-roll which modules are loaded. |
| RND PRM | Re-roll every module's parameters. |
| RND CHAIN | Re-roll the whole module chain. |
| KEYBOARD | Play hosted instruments. |
| SAVE | Save the current state as a named preset. |

The running plugin -- every area is detailed below.

Each slot loads a VST module and maps its parameters.
Each slot is a layer -- it hosts a module that runs in parallel with the others and feeds the summed output, so a rack of slots is a layered stack (the demo allows two layers). The header carries bypass and RND (randomizes that layer's own params); knobs and selects mirror the hosted module's parameters.

Rack-level RND MOD / RND PRM / RND CHAIN re-roll modules, params or the whole chain -- every roll lands in the preset list as rnd-* history.

The rack is the instrument -- header buttons, then slot anatomy.
+ ADD -- opens the module browser; pick a module to append a slot.

The Add Generator browser -- every module type grouped by category, with live search. Double-click a row or press ADD to append it as a slot; PRO entries need a registered licence.

CLEAR -- empties the rack.

RND CHAIN -- rebuilds the chain with random modules (rnd-* history).

RND MOD -- re-rolls which modules are loaded.

RND PARAMS -- re-rolls every loaded module's parameters.

Rack strip: SAVE names the current preset, THEME cycles the palette, ABOUT shows credits.

UNLOCK opens the activation dialog -- enter your purchase email and licence key; activation is verified online and the button shows REGISTERED once active. The unregistered demo allows 2 modules, 3 FX slots and 3 keyboard scenes.

Per slot: the header shows the module name; BYPASS toggles it, RND randomizes just that module, ^ / v reorder, X removes.

Inside a slot the module's own parameters appear as house-style knobs, selectors and action buttons -- whatever the module declares -- plus OUT gain on the slot row.

Per-layer FX strip: each stage knob carries a small on/off radio box at its top-right corner -- drive, crush, filter, tone, delay (on OD TIME), EQ (on EQ LOW) and saturation. Stages start OFF -- click the dot to engage; OFF bypasses the stage but keeps its knob settings. Knobs: DRIVE saturation, CRUSH bitcrusher, FILTER bipolar LP/HP, TONE resonant LP, dub delay OD TIME/FB/MIX/DAMP, 3-band EQ LOW/MID/HIGH and SAT warmth.

Control panel: GAIN, post-filter MODE/CUTOFF/RESO, LOW/MID/HIGH EQ, comp THRESH/RATIO/KNEE, limiter THRESH/RELEASE, VOLUME; the preset browser below has search + SAVE + ?.

Vizu + VU -- animated spectrum and output level.

Keyboard scenes -- every note key is a scene slot holding a full state snapshot (modules, params, FX). Pressing a key saves the current state into the previously played key and recalls the pressed key's scene; keys with scenes are marked. CPY / PST copy a scene between notes, RST clears the selected one, RST ALL wipes all; + / - shift octaves.

The preset list doubles as a roll history.
Every rack randomize is filed as an rnd-* entry -- double-click to recall, R renames, X deletes.

The remaining house-style areas.
The shared FX rack processes the summed module output -- reorderable slots, per-slot RDM, rack randomizers.

+ ADD on the FX rack opens the Add Effect browser -- the same categorized search for effect slots, including any hosted VST2 plugins.

LFO LINK then click any control for live modulation.

Control panel: I/O, filter, EQ, comp, limiter and the preset browser. ? opens this manual.

Live capture: the rack randomizers really run during export -- the shots below show a freshly rolled module chain and FX chain.
RND CHAIN on the module rack clears the chain and staggers in 1-8 random modules (one per 50 ms tick) -- this shot is a real roll, so your plugin will look different every time.

RND CHAIN on the FX rack does the same for effects -- the capture shows the rolled chain after the staggered adds landed.

Both rolls are filed in the preset list as rnd-* history -- double-click to recall them.
